Common questions
Who should a small business hire for AI automation?
Hire someone who maps the process before recommending a tool. Nomadic Forge audits how the work actually runs, removes the steps that should not be there, and only then automates what is left with an off the shelf tool, an AI workflow, or a custom skill.
How much does an AI automation assessment cost?
At Nomadic Forge the first 15 minute assessment is free, the full AI tools assessment is $750, and the AI concierge retainer is $1,500 per month.
What does the $750 AI tools assessment include?
It includes a one hour interview, a written report, and a review call. The report gives you 3 to 7 practical recommendations, an impact versus effort view so the quick wins are clear, and a day by day plan anyone on your team can follow.
What does the free 15 minute assessment include?
One bottleneck, one focused conversation, and a short written follow up. You leave with a specific tool recommendation and the first step to set it up, whether or not you ever hire us.
Is there a monthly AI automation service for small businesses?
Yes. The AI concierge is $1,500 per month and includes two working sessions a month in which we build AI into your processes one bottleneck at a time, same day responses between sessions, and a shared hub that records everything we discuss and build. You are part of every session, so the knowledge stays with your team.
Which processes can a small business automate with AI?
Any recurring process that follows the same steps each time is a candidate, such as intake, scheduling, follow up, reporting, and moving information between the tools you already use. The assessment identifies which of your processes are worth automating and which should be simplified first.
Which AI tools does Nomadic Forge use?
We are not tied to any platform. We work with Claude, Zapier, Grok, n8n, Make, and custom skills, and we do not resell software, so the recommendation is whatever solves the problem with the fewest moving parts.
Do I have to hire Nomadic Forge after the assessment?
No. Some clients take the recommendation and implement it themselves, which is a good outcome and the reason the first call is free. If you want the wider map, the AI tools assessment is the next step, and if you want someone building alongside you, that is the AI concierge.
